This Smith-Corona Electra is a pretty reliable portable typewriter, similar to a Classic 12, but it's heavier and a little less slim than the manual typewriters Smith-Corona was making at the same time. Cosmetically, it has a few flaws here and there, and the case didn't clean up too well. However, it functions without any issues, and it's a great typewriter to use. It took me, being used to writing on a manual typewriter, some time to get used to the different feel of an electric typewriter, but once you get the feel of it, it's actually pretty enjoyable to use. This typewriter also uses Universal typewriter ribbons.
