1950s *SCRIPT* Smith-Corona Electric Portable
This beautiful green Smith-Corona Electric portable is a very uncommon machine. While it resembles the standard Smith-Corona Sterlings also made during that era, this typewriter has many more benefits than that model and it just a better machine to type on. This model was the first electric portable that Smith-Corona made, and was very successful, although not many were produced. To add to its rarity, this particular typewriter writes in cursive! (See type sample). Cursive typewriters are rather rare and coveted machines, as they are not commonly found, and cursive is just a nice font to type in. And not only is this model uncommon, this particle machine is in superb condition, both mechanically and cosmetically, and is ready for some heavy typing. The only flaw to this machine is that the case is missing, so it can't be carried around easily. I've never seen this model in script before, and out of the hundreds of typewriters I've had in my possession, I've never had this model. This is a beautiful and rare machine that would be a great addition to a collection, or an amazing first typewriter.
